About the Organization, Our Mission and Values

At Colorado Sisters in Psychedelics (COSIP), we are building a supportive, safe, and empowering community for women and female-identifying individuals exploring the transformational potential of psychedelics and holistic healing practices.

COSIP began as a local chapter of the global Sisters in Psychedelics (SIP) organization - a community rooted in connection, empowerment, and conscious healing. As our membership grew and our needs evolved, so did our mission. Today, COSIP operates as an independent, community-driven collective supported by volunteer moderators who bring extensive experience in the psychedelic field, both professionally and through their own healing journeys.

Community collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. Our partners, offerings, and resources we share reflect our commitment to holistic well-being, safety and ethics, empowerment, and accessible education.

We believe in the power of sisterhood, storytelling, and sacred connection to help us heal more deeply—individually and collectively. Through monthly circles, workshops, integration support, and shared resources, we create space for open dialogue, education, and authentic connection.

These funds directly support our community through integration circles, group gatherings, facilitator stipends, and ongoing outreach efforts that help our collective thrive.

Our Mission

OUR MISSION is to normalize the intentional use of psychedelics as tools for healing and growth while addressing the stigma, isolation, and unique challenges women face on this path. We aim to create a safe, inclusive, and empowering space committed to community care, personal sovereignty, and co-creating a more compassionate world.

Our Vision

We ENVISION a world where women are liberated from stigma and empowered through community, education, and the sacred use of psychedelic medicines to embrace their full selves and support each other in healing and transformation.

Together, we’re not just healing—we’re rising.

Our Values

We honor the power of collective healing. By uplifting one another with empathy, compassion, and shared wisdom, we create a community where every voice is valued and no one walks their path alone.

Community

We cultivate safe, welcoming spaces for women and female-identifying people of all backgrounds, identities, and lived experiences. We believe healing is for everyone.

Belonging

We respect each individual’s autonomy, pace, and unique healing journey. We support informed choice, embodied decision-making, and the right to define one’s own path.

Sovereignty

We commit to grounded, practical, and evidence-informed harm reduction practices. Safety — emotional, physical, and spiritual — is the foundation of all COSIP gatherings, education, and support.

Harm Reduction

We believe knowledge is liberating. We offer education that blends science, tradition, and lived experience so members can make empowered, intentional choices about their healing and psychedelic use.

Education

We operate with honesty, transparency, and ethical responsibility. We hold ourselves and our community to standards that protect trust, confidentiality, and the well-being of all participants.

Integrity

We honor the spiritual, ceremonial, and ancestral dimensions of psychedelic and plant medicine work. We approach these practices with reverence, respect, and humility.

Honoring the Sacred

We recognize that true healing involves mind, body, spirit, and community. We embrace both ancient and modern modalities — from ritual and meditation to somatic and integrative practices.

Holistic Healing

We challenge outdated narratives and cultural judgments surrounding psychedelics, women’s wellness, and nontraditional healing paths. We believe in redefining the story through empowerment and visibility.

Breaking Stigma

We are stronger together. COSIP thrives through shared leadership, volunteer involvement, and meaningful partnerships that align with our mission and values.

Collaboration

Our moderators, facilitators, and community members lead with empathy, humility, and genuine care for the collective well-being.

Compassionate Leadership

We embrace change as a sacred part of the healing journey. We encourage curiosity, resilience, and personal evolution through intentional practice and community support.
