About the Organization, Our Mission and Values

At Colorado Sisters in Psychedelics (COSIP), we are building a supportive, safe, and empowering community for women and female-identifying individuals exploring consciousness work and holistic wellness practices.

COSIP began as a local chapter of the global Sisters in Psychedelics (SIP) organization - a community rooted in connection, empowerment, and conscious healing. As our membership grew and our needs evolved, so did our mission. Today, COSIP operates as an independent, community-driven collective supported by dedicated volunteers and collaborators.

Community collaboration and harm reduction is at the heart of everything we do. Our partners, offerings, and resources we share reflect our commitment to safety and ethics, sovereignty, and accessible education.

We believe in the power of sisterhood, storytelling, and sacred connection to help us heal more deeply, both individually and collectively. Through monthly circles, workshops, integration support, and shared resources, we create space for open dialogue, education, and authentic connection.

Our Mission

Our MISSION is to provide education, community support, and ethical resources to women and female-identifying individuals exploring personal and spiritual growth through non-ordinary states of consciousness and holistic wellness practices. We cultivate safe, inclusive spaces rooted in compassion, sisterhood, and harm reduction, empowering individuals to make informed, sovereign choices on their healing paths.

Our Vision

We ENVISION  a world where women and female-identifying individuals are free from stigma, supported by community, and empowered to explore healing, self-discovery, and transformation through ethical, informed, and harm reduction-based approaches. Through education and connection, we foster collective growth, resilience, and wholeness.

Our Values

We prioritize physical, emotional, and psychological safety. Our work is grounded in harm reduction principles, informed consent, trauma awareness, and responsible education.

Safety & Harm Reduction

We believe knowledge is liberating. We provide accurate, accessible information that supports thoughtful, informed decision-making and personal responsibility.

Education & Informed Choice

Healing happens in relationship. We cultivate connection, mutual support, and belonging among women and female-identifying individuals.

Community & Sisterhood

We honor diversity in identity, experience, belief, and background. All are welcomed with respect, dignity, and care.

Inclusivity & Respect

We support each individual’s right to self-determination, bodily autonomy, and spiritual exploration without judgment or coercion.

Personal Sovereignty

We act with transparency, accountability, and ethical responsibility in all programming, partnerships, and leadership.

Ethical Integrity

We recognize healing as multidimensional, integrating mind, body, spirit, community, and relationship with nature.

Holistic Well-Being

We foster confidence, leadership, and shared wisdom, supporting both individual transformation and collective liberation.

Empowerment & Collective Growth

We cultivate gratitude for those who came before us, earth and nature. We honor the spiritual, ceremonial and ancestral dimensions of consciousness work. We approach these practices with reverence, respect, and humility.
