Why Become a Volunteer?

Our organization can't do it without your heart-felt support. 

Volunteers are what propel our mission to continue forward, allowing us to reach and serve the largest number of psychedelic sisters possible. When you volunteer with COSIP you are helping to uplift the collective and make this type of healing accessible to others. 

We strive to make your time worth it, offering unique volunteer benefits and sisterhood connection activities. You will also have the opportunity to be a crucial part in shaping the future of COSIP and get the chance to build your professional resume in the meantime.

Volunteer Opportunities

COMMUNITY MEETUP HOSTS

Time Commitment: ~2-3 hours per meetup
Role Summary: Support in person community gatherings and sharing COSIP's mission as a host for free meetups in your community or neighborhood.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify a date, time and location for a community meetup. This could be at a cafe, park, library, community center, or other free and easily accessible location.

  • You'll be provided with business cards, stickers, a sign-in sheet, and a script to help introduce COSIP to the attendees.

  • Share about COSIP's mission, encourage member engagement, and submit a sign-in sheet for participants.

  • Represent COSIP with integrity and accountability.

Ideal Qualities:

Friendly, enjoys social engagement, aligned with COSIP's mission.

CIRCLE & INTEGRATION MODERATOR

Time Commitment: ~2-3 hrs/circle or ~2-4 hours per month
Role Summary: Creates and holds safe, nonjudgmental spaces for group sharing and integration after psychedelic experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Co-host monthly or as-needed integration circles.

  • Hold trauma-informed, inclusive, and confidential space.

  • Follow the provided structure and group agreements of the integration circle.

  • Gently guide group flow and encourage equitable sharing, prioritizing psychedelic experiences.

  • Collaborate with other hosts and support leads.

Ideal Qualities:
At least 2 years experience in psychedelic journeying and integration, trauma-informed, grounded in non-directive and compassionate support. Must attend integration circles prior to becoming a host/co-host.
